Geomax 2 driver review

 · Most “player’s” drivers are built with a slightly open face of 2° or 3° to give the appearance of square at address. But even with a square face angle the GeoMax driver sets up really well. It took maybe five seconds to adjust to it. Swinging the club, my test sample felt good. The swing weight I measured on this club was a moderate D1. This is a great and very well made driver with the latest technology. PLUS you can get in higher lofts which many teachers recommend for straighter shots and steeper ball launch. I ordered the 15 degree and it is better than the Ping, Adams, Nike, and Callaway drivers now sitting in my garage/5. The Bazooka GeoMax 2 is made for players who need help getting the ball in the air and down the fairway even on mishits. A very good driver that pads the distance and keeps the round-ending bad days off the tee to a minimum. Cons/Negatives-The driver is certainly not for everyone – definitely caters to the recreational player.

Review. The Driver id specified as 15 loft, a 2 degree draw and higher MOI. I had to look up MOI to find out that it simply means that the driver is more forgiving on mis hit shots. So this driver is designed for use by someone who doesn’t always strike the ball cleanly and has a tendency to hook the ball i.e. has the club face too open at impact.
